What is context

Context is an event/activity that is set over a longer period of time or that occurs frequently and recurrently. These are events and activities of greater importance, so you can have control over them and observe what real impact they have on your life. A perfect example of such a context could be a vacation, projects that are important to you at work or school, or, for example, a move or renovation.

You can add a context directly by making an entry for a given day (step 3 – activities, at the very bottom you will find an area for contexts) or from the calendar (enter for a given day – then you can edit the visible contexts if you have set them for that day or use the “Add” option context” to add a new one).

Each context consists of defining its:
– name (e.g. holiday, project, renovation),
– start and end dates (if you don’t know when it will end, uncheck the “is finished” option – the context will then be added to each new day until you consider it finished)
– determining its color (facilitates the organization of contexts)

If the context has the “It’s finished” option checked, every entry that appears between the start date and the end date will contain this context. If you uncheck this option, the context will be added to each new entry you create until you decide you want to finish it (then just check the “It’s finished” option).

What do contexts give us?

If you already have some contexts in your entries – no matter whether they are short (one day, several days) or long (weeks, months) – you can see in the statistics what real impact the selected contexts have on you. At the very top, select the context you are interested in – the statistics will be limited only to entries in which the selected context occurs. Now you can see whether the context you created has an impact on your mood, the activities you undertake, and what emotions you most often experience. This makes it easier to make decisions about organizing your life in terms of mental health.

The appearance and organization of the entry

Each entry consists of:

– mood
– emotions
– activities
– notes
– photos
– context

Only the mood is mandatory – this step cannot be skipped. All others are optional, they may or may not be entered. Remember, however, that the more information you provide in your entry, the more accurate statistics you can obtain. This makes working on yourself much easier. Also, try to maintain some consistency. If you have decided that you want to include emotions and activities in each entry, try to do so in each entry.

Photos and notes have no impact on statistics, but they will certainly help you remember certain thoughts and fleeting moments. Thanks to them, you will be able to come back to them even after years.

What is the "Most selected" when editing entry

Most selected is an uneditable tab when adding entries, especially when adding activities and adding emotions. This tab is created based on your most frequently selected choices – it is located at the very top, so you always have it at hand at the top. The activities and emotions you will find there are not editable. However, this does not change the fact that when you edit the original activities and emotions in their standard tabs, they will also change in most popular.
